IT Infrastructure Engineer I at Kforce Inc.
About the role
This position supports the daily technical operations for new facility deployments and fulfillment sites. You will assist senior engineers with the design, installation, and testing of site technologies while maintaining configuration standards and documentation.

What you'll do
- Execute day to day technical tasks for new technology deployments at various facilities.
- Work with project managers and site engineers to implement integration standards and keep documentation current.
- Handle basic engineering duties including planning, testing, and supporting site-specific technology.
- Provide follow-up assistance on defined technical issues alongside senior staff.
- Conduct due diligence assessments to identify project requirements and integration points.
- Configure infrastructure integration technologies at a basic to moderate level.
- Help adjust project priorities to meet organizational objectives.
- Test and document new integration methodologies and tools.
Requirements
- Associates degree in a relevant field or an equivalent mix of education and experience, plus continuing education credits in technology.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a medium to large enterprise environment focusing on network, telecommunications, and client/server integration.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Visio, and Project.
- Strong customer service, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and meet aggressive deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Foundational knowledge of client/server and network/telecommunications architecture.

Practical notes
- Travel is required as needed to perform site assessments or resolve escalated issues at resorts, sales offices, and call centers.
