Data Scientist III

About the role

Kforce is hiring a Data Scientist III for a project in Mountain View, CA, spanning the FY27 period. You will focus on optimizing the Referrals program by managing reporting, testing, and analytical workflows for both in-season and out-of-season cycles.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Automate weekly KPI reporting and identify performance improvement opportunities for the Referrals program
• Collaborate with marketers, product managers, product designers, and other stakeholders to design, instrument, and analyze A/B tests
• Conduct directional and causal analysis to support decision-making and project progression
• Build and maintain end-to-end reporting pipelines and dashboards for new Referral initiatives
• Replace front-end clickstream metrics with stable backend data and optimize existing data pipelines
• Create self-serve testing tools to standardize processes across product areas like Friends and Family and Shopping

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master degree in a quantitative discipline such as Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or Business Analytics
• Professional experience in Financial Technology
• Proficiency in time series forecasting
• Demonstrated ability to work within cross-functional teams to influence product strategy
• Strong technical skills in SQL, analytics, A/B testing, and causal inference
• Expertise in core data science methodologies

• Compensation: The pay range is determined by factors including education, experience, skills, seniority, and location. This role is not eligible for bonuses, incentives, or commissions.
