What you'll do
- Guide prospects through the entire sales journey, from initial contact to closing deals.
- Develop and nurture a pipeline of new business opportunities, converting leads into loyal customers.
- Present customized product demonstrations and proposals that highlight the value of KAYAK for Business.
- Stay informed about product capabilities and market trends to serve as a trusted advisor to clients.
- Provide feedback from clients and the market to product and operations teams to enhance offerings.
- Coordinate with global teams to ensure clients have a smooth onboarding experience and ongoing success.
- Analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimize strategies.
- Build and maintain a robust network within the corporate travel industry to generate referrals.
- Utilize strategic account planning to prioritize high-value targets and maximize revenue potential.
- Conduct regular reviews of market competition to position KAYAK for Business effectively.
- Develop forecasting models to predict revenue and support business planning initiatives.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration to ensure client expectations are met consistently.
- Leverage digital tools to streamline sales processes and improve efficiency.
- Champion the KAYAK for Business brand in all external interactions to reinforce market presence.
Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in corporate travel sales.
- A proactive approach with a strong drive to meet sales targets in a competitive market.
- Proven ability to build a sales pipeline and successfully close complex agreements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage with senior executives.
- Capacity to work effectively with product, marketing, and implementation departments.
- Familiarity with CRM and sales support platforms such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and Google Workspace.
- Demonstrated success in managing multiple deals simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and conditions for clients.
- Ability to interpret market data and apply insights to sales strategies.
- Willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures in all professional interactions.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest level of integrity in client relationships.
- Capability to travel domestically for client meetings as required, even if the role is remote.
