About the role
Join KAYAK's in-house creative team as a Conceptual Copywriter. You will develop compelling campaign ideas and write engaging copy across various platforms. This role is for someone who can transform product insights and business goals into impactful, brand-building creative work.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Generate creative concepts and write copy for brand, performance, social media, video, digital, out-of-home, and new platforms.
- Produce content across diverse formats including campaigns, scripts, social posts, CRM, landing pages, product messages, and brand communications.
- Contribute to shaping and refining KAYAK's brand voice and tone across all touchpoints.
- Collaborate with creatives, designers, marketers, and product teams to deliver cohesive, insight-driven creative.
- Guide ideas from initial brief through to final execution, maintaining high quality.
- Assist with presentations, campaign strategies, messaging frameworks, and creative direction.
- Utilize testing and performance data to refine messages and enhance outcomes.
- Help uphold and improve the creative standards of the team.
Requirements
- 4-6+ years of experience in a creative role, demonstrating strong conceptual thinking, craft, and a compelling portfolio.
- Possess a curious, collaborative, and highly driven approach.
- Exhibit strong conceptual abilities, exceptional writing skills, and a keen instinct for ideas.
- Comfortable writing for different tones, formats, and audiences.
- Able to balance creative aspirations with commercial objectives.
- Interested in leveraging data, testing, and audience insights to boost creative performance.
- Passionate about branding, storytelling, travel, and culture.
- Eager to explore new creative tools and technologies, including AI.
- Prepared to contribute to a progressive, idea-first in-house studio environment.
Nice to have
- Experience from an advertising agency or a strong brand-side creative setting.
- A portfolio showcasing comprehensive conceptual thinking and execution across multiple formats.
- Confidence working across various channels and formats.
- An intuitive understanding of how words complement visuals.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- A genuine interest in travel and creativity.
- Experience with the film production process.

Practical notes
- This is a hybrid role requiring at least 3 days per week in the London office.
