About the role

Join our team to build and enhance the foundational identity and access management services for the JumpCloud platform. You will work with a global engineering group to create reliable features using Go, Python, and Node.js. This position emphasizes implementing secure web authentication, identity workflows, and using AI development tools to improve code quality and delivery speed.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Develop, test, and deploy scalable backend microservices in Go, Python, or Node.js.
• Implement and maintain core authentication and identity technologies like OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and single sign-on.
• Use AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot and Cursor to automate code generation, write tests, and speed up debugging.
• Deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes on AWS.
• Design and implement automated tests and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers across different time zones to define requirements and review code.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional software development experience, focusing on backend systems and APIs.
• Proficiency in Go, Node.js, and/or Python.
• Solid understanding of modern web security and authentication protocols including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and JWT.
• Experience deploying applications on AWS and familiarity with container orchestration like Kubernetes or Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Proven experience using AI coding assistants to boost productivity and code quality.

• This is a remote position within India.
• Candidates must be located in and authorized to work in India.
