About the role
This position is key to guiding executive decisions through thorough financial analysis, forward-looking projections, and strategic insights. You will collaborate with the Accounting department and leaders across various business units to enhance financial performance, improve forecast accuracy, and support long-term planning in a dynamic setting.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting and forecasting procedures.
- Generate and examine management reports, analyze deviations, and create executive summaries.
- Construct financial models to back strategic projects and long-term planning.
- Work with Accounting during the monthly closing process to confirm the accuracy of financial outcomes.
- Refine financial processes, reporting systems, and forecasting techniques.
- Maintain data integrity and ensure adherence to internal controls and financial guidelines.
- Present financial findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders and management.
- Analyze revenue trends, sales pipeline performance, customer growth, and other commercial factors influencing financial plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a similar field.
- 5-8+ years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical tasks.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; familiarity with financial software and business intelligence tools is beneficial.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities, capable of explaining complex data clearly.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- MBA, CPA, CFA, or a comparable professional credential.
- Experience in usage-based, SaaS, or technology-focused businesses.
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
- Experience with reporting and analytics platforms like Power BI or Tableau.

Compensation: $136,000 - $161,000 annually, with potential for adjustment based on location and experience.
