About the role

Jumia is seeking a professional to manage high-level partnerships within our pan-African e-commerce marketplace. You will act as a primary representative for the company, focusing on revenue growth and brand acquisition in Kenya.

What you'll do

• Manage relationships with C-suite executives and managers at top brands and distributors.
• Create and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue within your assigned portfolio.
• Onboard new high-potential brands and distributors to expand our product range.
• Sell Jumia advertising and visibility services to partners to generate additional revenue.
• Work with marketing and commercial planning departments to design promotional campaigns.
• Review sales data and market trends to adjust strategies and improve performance.
• Track and report on metrics including inventory levels, campaign results, and customer satisfaction.
• Negotiate long-term agreements that benefit both Jumia and our partners.
• Coordinate with logistics, operations, and merchandising teams to ensure smooth service delivery.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in retail or the specific category within the local market.
• Degree from a top-tier business or engineering school.
• Demonstrated success in commercial negotiations with senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical ability to process data and create actionable business plans.
• Fluency in English with professional communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace.
• Experience using CRM or relationship management software.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, competitive environment.
