About the role
Joyful Health is building an AI-driven financial operating system to resolve the payment inefficiencies currently impacting private medical practices. As the first dedicated outbound hire, you will establish our prospecting strategy and drive pipeline growth for the sales organization.

What you'll do
- Manage end-to-end outbound prospecting efforts to engage outpatient healthcare providers.
- Utilize AI tools like Claude to accelerate account research and scale personalized outreach.
- Execute multi-channel cadences including cold calls, email sequences, and LinkedIn messaging.
- Qualify inbound leads from community, event, and partnership channels.
- Transition high-quality discovery meetings to Account Executives with detailed context.
- Maintain accurate records and pipeline data within HubSpot.
- Gather and report market feedback to help refine our messaging and ideal customer profile.
- Develop deep knowledge of revenue cycle management and medical billing economics.
Requirements
- 1-2+ years of experience in a BDR or SDR role within a high-growth startup.
- Proven ability to manage high-volume outbound activity including cold calling and email sequences.
- Proficiency with CRM software, specifically HubSpot.
- Ability to create personalized, high-quality messaging rather than relying on generic templates.
- Strong aptitude for self-correction and implementing feedback immediately.
- Experience working in ambiguous, early-stage environments where you must build processes while executing them.
