Vanta helps businesses establish and demonstrate security through continuous monitoring and verification. As a Solutions Engineer, you will lead technical engagements with commercial and enterprise prospects to ensure our platform aligns with their security objectives. You will bridge the gap between technical requirements and business value, driving product adoption and gathering feedback to influence our development roadmap.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Manage the technical relationship with customers throughout the sales cycle.
• Master our product features, integrations, configurations, and the competitive landscape.
• Act as a voice for the customer by relaying market feedback to the product team to prioritize new functionality.
• Guide prospects through their trial experience.
• Create technical resources, product examples, and documentation.
• Foster a collaborative and creative environment.
• Design and implement initiatives to improve the transition from pre-sales to post-sales.

Requirements

• 4+ years of customer-facing technical experience in roles such as Solutions Engineer or Sales Engineer.
• Background in B2B SaaS environments.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure.
• Proficiency with Windows, MacOS, and Linux operating systems and cloud application architecture.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to thrive in an unstructured startup setting.
• General knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Ruby, Bash, or JavaScript.
• Detail-oriented approach with the ability to balance high-level strategy with technical execution.
• Curiosity regarding the use of AI to improve efficiency and work quality.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with REST API development and service integrations.
• Prior experience within the cybersecurity industry.

Practical notes

Compensation includes a competitive salary and equity.
