About the role
Handshake is seeking a technical contributor to bridge the gap between fragmented business intelligence and our go-to-market operations. You will build and maintain automated systems that replace manual tasks, allowing our sales and success teams to focus on high-value customer interactions.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Develop and manage enrichment waterfalls and signal-detection workflows to identify and route high-fit leads.
- Create and support AI-driven agents and workflows using Python, SQL, Salesforce Flows, and Workato.
- Convert complex manual business processes into reliable, automated software systems.
- Manage the full lifecycle of your builds, including documentation, testing, and system monitoring.
- Promote AI adoption and best practices across the broader go-to-market organization.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in GTM Engineering, RevOps, Marketing Ops, Sales Systems, or Growth Engineering within a B2B SaaS environment.
- Proficiency with AI coding assistants like Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex to accelerate development.
- Advanced expertise in Clay or similar enrichment and orchestration platforms.
- Strong SQL skills, including experience with multi-table queries and data warehouses like BigQuery or dbt.
- Deep hands-on knowledge of the Salesforce data model, including Flows and formula fields.
- Ability to define project scope independently and prioritize shipping functional versions over perfection.
Nice to have
- Total professional experience of 5+ years.
- Production-level experience with LLM APIs, including prompt engineering, evaluation loops, and error handling.
- Familiarity with agent tooling and Model Context Protocol, such as Claude Agent SDK or MCP servers.
- Prior work in advanced analytics, AI/ML projects, or marketplace SaaS.
- Background in the early careers sector.
