About the role

Perplexity is looking for engineers to join the Enterprise Adoption team to advance how our organization and clients utilize AI agents. You will build systems that integrate Perplexity Computer into daily workflows, turning internal operational successes into scalable solutions for our enterprise partners.

What you'll do

• Determine and implement the most effective ways to make Computer a transformative tool for internal departments.
• Partner with teams like legal, finance, recruiting, and operations to understand their workflows and integrate AI effectively.
• Build the infrastructure, connectors, and evaluation frameworks required to make internal processes accessible to AI agents.
• Feed insights from internal AI usage back into the core product to improve platform performance.
• Work with design, product management, data science, and sales to translate business needs into functional, reliable agent experiences.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Daily practitioner of AI tools with deep knowledge of current frontier models.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with TypeScript, Go, or similar languages.
• Ability to understand the operational requirements of non-technical business departments.
• Working knowledge of the modern AI agent stack, including context engineering, connectors, and evaluation methods.
• Product-focused mindset capable of simplifying complex agent interactions for diverse users.

Nice to have

• Experience developing platforms specifically for internal or enterprise users.
