About the role
Perplexity is growing rapidly and requires a dedicated operator to manage the internal systems and strategic initiatives that drive our hiring efforts. You will serve as the primary owner for high-stakes projects, ensuring our recruiting operations remain organized and effective during this period of intense scaling.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Manage end-to-end execution of critical talent programs from initial concept through final delivery.
- Collaborate with executive and recruiting leadership to translate high-level goals into actionable project plans with defined milestones.
- Coordinate efforts across Finance, People, and business departments to align stakeholders and remove operational obstacles.
- Establish organizational rhythms including planning cycles, reporting structures, and executive briefing cadences.
- Develop workflows and automation tools to increase recruiting efficiency and minimize manual tasks.
- Create dashboards and metrics to provide data-driven insights for leadership decision-making.
- Identify potential risks in complex initiatives and provide clear, timely communication to resolve issues.
- Document and standardize internal playbooks to ensure consistent program execution across the company.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in program or project management, specifically involving companywide initiatives.
- Proven history of managing high-visibility, cross-functional projects and presenting outcomes to executive teams.
- Demonstrated ability to produce measurable results while working in fast-moving, high-growth organizations.
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on designing sustainable systems and processes.
- Ability to interpret complex data sets and transform them into clear strategic guidance.
- High level of discretion and professional judgment when handling sensitive information.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a desire to build original solutions.
