About the role
Handshake is seeking a founding marketer to lead the go-to-market strategy for our new Enterprise AI division. You will define the product narrative and sales enablement for our data infrastructure solutions as we expand into sectors like banking, insurance, retail, and legal.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Establish the end-to-end positioning, messaging architecture, and ideal customer profile for the Enterprise AI business.
- Create technical content such as executive bylines, white papers, and case studies that explain complex concepts like model behavior and RL environments.
- Develop all sales collateral from the ground up, including pitch decks, battlecards, and objection handling guides.
- Collaborate directly with the sales team and solutions architects during discovery calls and demos to refine the technical narrative.
- Execute account-based marketing strategies tailored to specific industry verticals.
- Launch a digital presence, including landing pages and microsites, with support from web development.
- Utilize AI tools to manage high-volume output and operational tasks while the department remains lean.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in B2B marketing with a focus on product marketing.
- Proven track record of launching a product or building a marketing function from the ground up at an early-stage company.
- Experience supporting enterprise sales teams in high-ACV, complex technical environments.
- Demonstrated success selling technical solutions to non-tech Fortune 500 organizations.
- Ability to rapidly master technical subject matter and translate it into compelling stories.
- Self-directed work style suitable for ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
Nice to have
- Previous experience at a large, structured organization like Google or Salesforce before transitioning to an early-stage AI or technical startup.
- High fluency in using AI tools to accelerate research, competitive intelligence, and content production.
