As a Data Scientist Intern, you will play a key role in transforming the job search experience by analyzing user interactions and assessing product effectiveness. Your work will involve generating data-driven insights and collaborating with various teams to enhance our AI-driven job search platform.

What you'll do

• Examine job seeker behaviors, job-related data, and overall product performance.
• Establish metrics and create experiments to test new features.
• Develop analytical models, dashboards, and reporting processes.
• Identify ways to enhance recommendations, search relevance, and user engagement.
• Present findings and suggestions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Work closely with product, engineering, and AI teams in person.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a similar discipline.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Solid understanding of statistics, experimentation, and data analysis techniques.
• Capability to convert vague questions into structured analyses.
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to work onsite in Santa Clara, CA.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with machine learning, natural language processing, recommendation systems, or experimental design.
• Experience with tools such as pandas, scikit-learn, Jupyter notebooks, or data visualization software.
• Background in handling large or complex datasets.
• Interest in ethical data and AI applications in career-related products.
• Previous experience in research, internships, or analytics projects.
