About the role

Jobright.ai is expanding its AI-native platform and looking for an engineer to create features that assist users and businesses in the job market. You will focus on deploying agent-based applications and refining product performance based on direct user input.

What you'll do

• Design and launch AI-driven tools for both individual job seekers and corporate clients.
• Create workflows, APIs, and user interfaces centered on AI agents.
• Manage the full development lifecycle from initial concept to production deployment.
• Partner with design and business departments to address user needs.
• Test new LLMs and agent frameworks to enhance platform functionality.
• Use data and user feedback to improve the quality of existing features.

Requirements

• 1 to 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Background in developing AI applications using RAG, LLMs, or agentic frameworks.
• Proficiency in full-stack or backend development.
• Ability to manage projects independently from start to finish.
• Preference for building consumer-facing products over pure research or infrastructure work.

Nice to have

• Previous experience working in a startup or high-growth environment.
• Prior history of shipping AI products that have reached active users.
• Familiarity with AI development environments and tools like Cursor, Claude Code, OpenCode, or Codex.
• A product-focused mindset with the ability to navigate changing requirements.
