Software Engineer (Typescript)

We are seeking a Software Engineer with expertise in Typescript to join our client's team at a seed-stage tech startup in Seattle. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys tackling complex challenges and is ready to contribute both strategically and technically. You will play a key role in shaping the product while working closely with early customers.

What you'll do

• Develop initial versions of the platform and collaborate with early users to influence product development.
• Convert product specifications and UI/UX designs into a polished, enterprise-ready application.
• Rapidly create prototypes, iterate, and refine in a dynamic environment.
• Lead the architectural strategy as the platform evolves.
• Design and execute integrations with external APIs, partners, and core cloud infrastructure.
• Initially focus on delivering customer-driven solutions, then guide the re-architecture for scalability once value is established.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in full-stack development (both front-end and back-end).
• Proficiency in modern open-source technologies including Typescript, React, Next.js, GraphQL, and Trigger.dev.
• Experience in startup environments, particularly in early-stage product development from concept to launch.
• Ability to deliver quickly and build integrations with external APIs efficiently.
• Comfort in collaborating with non-technical users and stakeholders.
• Willingness to mentor or lead an engineering team as the company expands.
• Preferred: Familiarity with ERP system APIs or experience in supply chain or operations-focused settings.
