About the role
This position involves creating and refining high-performance backend systems that support contemporary cloud-native applications. You will construct scalable services, APIs, and distributed solutions using advanced cloud infrastructure and software engineering techniques.

What you'll do
Build and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Go.
Develop cloud-native applications, Kubernetes controllers, and automation tools.
Integrate gRPC and REST APIs with databases, messaging systems, and other enterprise software.
Enhance application performance, concurrency, scalability, and resource usage.
Implement automated testing, monitoring, logging, and CI/CD processes.
Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in distributed systems.
Collaborate with engineering colleagues on technical designs and development standards.
Contribute to the architecture of microservices and cloud platforms.
Requirements
Possess at least 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with significant Go development expertise.
Demonstrate hands-on experience with Go, Kubernetes, gRPC/REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
Have experience using PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka or NATS, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
Show a solid understanding of backend architecture, API design, and cloud-native development.
Be proficient in debugging, performance optimization, and improving system reliability.
Communicate effectively and work well with cross-functional engineering teams.
Nice to have
Experience with Kubernetes Operators, eBPF, service mesh technologies, or security-focused Go applications.
Contributions to open-source projects or experience with WASM/TinyGo.
