US - Senior IT Support Engineer
About the role
We are seeking a Senior IT Support Engineer to oversee IT operations for our US operations. You will be the primary IT point of contact, ensuring systems run smoothly, assisting internal users with technical challenges, and fostering a dependable and secure technology environment.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Manage incoming helpdesk requests, resolving hardware, software, network, and office infrastructure problems to ensure prompt solutions.
- Set up, deploy, maintain, and securely remove laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and other user equipment, utilizing Workspace ONE.
- Handle the IT aspects of employee onboarding and offboarding, including setting up and revoking user accounts, devices, and system permissions.
- Take responsibility for local IT asset management, including tracking inventory, managing stock, coordinating shipments, handling returns, and overseeing the entire device lifecycle.
- Maintain precise records of IT assets, documentation, and incident logs.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in IT support, focusing on end-user assistance and troubleshooting hardware, software, office infrastructure, workplace technology, and local IT functions.
- Demonstrated proficiency in managing the full device lifecycle and IT assets, covering device preparation, deployment, MDM administration, endpoint security, inventory control, stock management, shipping, returns, storage, and asset tracking, with a particular emphasis on onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Experience supporting office infrastructure and coordinating with external vendors, internet service providers, office staff, and other service providers, alongside developing and documenting IT procedures.
- Strong communication abilities, a high level of accountability, and a dedication to continuous improvement, with skills in automation or a clear intention to develop these skills.
- A self-motivated and dependable individual capable of independent work, effective prioritization, and success in a rapidly growing company environment.
- Availability to work across different US time zones as required to support business needs.
