About the role
Join JFrog's Professional Services team as a Senior DevOps Engineer to guide customers in adopting and optimizing their software delivery processes. You will play a crucial role in helping leading companies implement robust DevOps and DevSecOps practices using JFrog's advanced platform.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Consult with clients to architect, implement, and deploy CI/CD pipelines and DevOps environments, integrating JFrog products with technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Development teams, as well as directly with client developers and DevOps professionals, to ensure successful adoption of the JFrog platform.
- Construct and configure CI pipelines utilizing tools such as Docker, NPM, Java, and Pypi, focusing on binary repository management, device distribution, and continuous build processes.
- Educate and train both the open-source community and JFrog customers on best practices and product usage.
- Provide feedback to JFrog's product teams to influence future features and roadmap based on real-world customer needs.
- Stay informed about emerging trends in DevOps and CI/CD technologies.
- Cultivate strong relationships with customers and the broader community.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience with Continuous Integration tools, including CI servers, Git, Artifactory, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, and NPM.
- Proven ability to build software delivery pipelines using Docker, NPM, Java, and Pypi, incorporating various DevOps tools for Git, binary repository management, binary scanning, and continuous integration.
- Solid understanding of infrastructure and operations, encompassing storage, networking, compute, security, and cloud environments (public and on-premise).
- Experience with Continuous Deployment and Delivery tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on proficiency in Linux is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP is mandatory.
- Demonstrated experience in customer-facing roles, with strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Experience with server-side software deployment, both on-premise and in the cloud.
- A strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- An open-source mindset.

- Experience with Software Architecture design and product development.

Practical notes
- This position is open to remote work for candidates outside a reasonable commuting distance to the Atlanta office.
- Compensation includes a base salary range of $150,000 to $160,000, determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
- Eligibility for discretionary bonuses or commission payments may apply.
- An equity package of restricted stock units (RSU) is included, along with eligibility for the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
