About the role

Jerry.ai is seeking a leader to drive content quality and output across all platforms, focusing on both traditional search engine optimization (SEO) and the emerging field of answer engine optimization (AEO). This role involves establishing Jerry.ai as a trusted authority wherever customers seek information about their assets. You will be instrumental in shaping how millions discover Jerry.ai through content.

What you'll do

• Develop content that achieves high rankings on Google and secures citations in AI answer engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini for topics related to insurance, maintenance, and repairs.
• Design content structures that optimize for AI answer engine visibility and ensure Jerry.ai's answers are prominently featured.
• Monitor and adapt to the evolving landscape of SEO and AEO to maintain and expand Jerry.ai's online presence.
• Oversee Jerry.ai's comprehensive editorial strategy for both its own website and external channels, with clear targets for organic traffic and customer acquisition.
• Create and manage a scalable, AI-powered content production system, from initial brief to final publication, including defining AI and human roles.
• Establish and uphold Jerry.ai's editorial standards for all content creators and AI agents, ensuring accuracy and credibility, especially for financial content.

Requirements

• Demonstrated editorial judgment and an understanding of effective writing for both human readers and large language models.
• A strong desire to continuously learn and master rapidly changing domains, such as how AI answer engines process and present information.
• Expertise in using large language models for drafting, research, synthesis, and process automation.
• Bachelor's degree.
