Senior Learning Programme Manager

About the role

This role involves leading and improving a global training and readiness program for a technology client, supporting over 1,000 resources. You will manage daily operations independently while collaborating with a Learning Director. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.

What you'll do

• Oversee the complete operational delivery of the training and readiness program across various interconnected workstreams, setting priorities and ensuring their completion.
• Lead and maintain consistent, high-quality, and scalable onboarding and readiness experiences for program participants as the program evolves.
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings, including global forums, ensuring clear decisions and follow-up actions.
• Provide regular program updates, insights, and potential risks to senior stakeholders and the Learning Director, translating detailed information into a clear narrative.
• Manage training refresh cycles, addressing impacts from changes in processes, tools, or requirements.
• Conduct quarterly content governance cycles to keep materials accurate, compliant, and aligned with business needs.
• Handle the intake, prioritization, tracking, and delivery of training and readiness requests, balancing multiple competing priorities.
• Maintain and enhance operational trackers, governance logs, and program documentation as the program develops.
• Monitor program health metrics, identifying trends in training completion, readiness, and risk areas to generate insights.
• Proactively identify, assess, and escalate program risks, providing clear context and recommended solutions.
• Serve as the escalation point for operational issues, driving their resolution across different teams and vendors.
• Manage daily relationships with vendor partners, ensuring they meet quality and delivery standards.
• Collaborate with the Learning Director on continuous improvement initiatives, including pilots for AI, automation, and process optimization.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in training operations, enablement, program operations, or operational excellence, preferably in a global or enterprise setting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a program from start to finish, including making and justifying prioritization decisions.
• Comfortable working within a rapidly changing, developing program rather than a fully established one.
• Strong skills in stakeholder management, with the ability to influence, align, and drive decisions without formal authority.
• Proven experience in identifying, managing, and reducing operational and program-level risks.
• Experience operationalizing processes using AI interfaces like Claude, Copilot, or GPT, rather than specialized purchased tools.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage complex, concurrent workstreams with minimal supervision.
• A strong analytical mindset, capable of converting data into clear insights and narratives.
• Clear, concise, and professional written and verbal communication skills in English, including with senior stakeholders.
• Comfortable operating in a global, matrixed environment across different time zones and cultures.
• A proactive, ownership-driven approach, comfortable working independently and navigating uncertainty.

• Experience with learning systems, training platforms, readiness models, or governance frameworks.
• Experience with AI-enabled operations, automation, or process optimization pilot projects.
• Background working with large client environments.
• Experience in vendor management.
• Familiarity with vendor skilling, readiness, or enablement programs at scale.
