About the role

Jellyfish is seeking a Design Director to oversee production and adaptation workflows within our Creative department. You will manage a global team, focusing on high-quality content delivery for major international brands while integrating AI tools into our creative processes.

What you'll do

• Lead and mentor a global design team across various time zones.
• Conduct regular check-ins and lead design huddles and motion design meet-ups.
• Collaborate with the VP, Creative + and the Creative and Experience Network to maintain quality standards.
• Oversee the adaptation and localization of assets for diverse markets.
• Manage multiple project timelines while ensuring creative output aligns with client briefs.
• Incorporate AI tools like Pencil Pro to optimize production workflows.
• Present design concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback to refine solutions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in design leadership, specifically with global beauty brands.
• Proficiency in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
• Advanced motion design capabilities, including interest in 3D animation and video editing.
• Background in managing international teams within a fast-paced agency setting.
• Deep knowledge of social media design and paid media best practices.
• Ability to manage high-volume workloads and shifting priorities.
• Strong visual storytelling and communication skills.
