Senior Full Stack Software Developer

About the role

This role involves end-to-end ownership of software, from initial design through to production deployment. You will integrate AI agents into your daily development process and collaborate with various teams to deliver client solutions. The position emphasizes clean code, scalable systems, and leveraging AI tools to enhance speed and quality.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and maintain web applications across both backend APIs and dynamic frontends.
• Independently manage complex software initiatives throughout their entire lifecycle, from design to support.
• Work with product managers, designers, and DevOps to ship high-quality software.
• Create RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI.
• Develop responsive front-end applications with JavaScript, TypeScript, or React.
• Design scalable distributed systems and microservice architectures.
• Deploy and manage applications using AWS serverless technologies and other cloud infrastructure.
• Utilize AI agents for various development tasks, including design, planning, implementation, testing, debugging, and documentation, ensuring careful validation before production.
• Design, build, and integrate AI agents and agentic workflows to automate engineering tasks and solve product challenges.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship through code reviews.

Requirements

• 5 or more years of experience building backend applications with Python and FastAPI or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of REST API design and implementation.
• 3 or more years developing and deploying applications using AWS serverless technologies and related cloud infrastructure.
• Experience developing front-end applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, or React.
• Proven ability to validate, refine, and take full ownership of AI-generated designs, code, tests, and documentation before deployment.
• Demonstrated experience working in an AI-first engineering environment where AI agents are a standard part of daily development workflows.
• Experience designing, building, and integrating AI agents or agentic workflows to automate engineering processes or deliver product capabilities.
• Strong cloud and DevOps experience.
• Experience owning production software throughout its lifecycle.
• Ability to independently drive complex initiatives from design through production.
• Strong accountability for customer and business outcomes.
• Experience designing scalable distributed systems and microservice architectures.
• Good debugging, troubleshooting, and production support skills.
• Ability to balance speed, quality, scalability, and maintainability.
• Demonstrated experience using AI agents as a core part of software development.
• Ability to use AI for design, planning, implementation, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Strong engineering judgment to validate and refine AI-generated work before production.
• Experience designing, building, and integrating AI agents and agentic workflows to automate engineering tasks and solve product challenges.
• Understanding of prompt engineering, tool orchestration, context management, and evaluation techniques for AI-powered systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to mentor peers through technical leadership and code reviews.
