What you'll do

Requirements
- Proven experience in building AI products utilizing LLMs, embeddings, and other machine learning technologies.
- Strong understanding of system architecture, including UI integration and data modeling. Familiarity with relational databases such as Postgres or MySQL is essential.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a holistic approach to understanding context and implications.
- Effective communication abilities, both written and verbal, with a focus on collaboration and compromise.
- A commitment to user impact and business outcomes, balancing quality, speed, and responsibility in your work.
Nice to have
- Over 10 years of experience in delivering production software, with a history of owning features from inception to completion.
- Proficiency in technologies such as React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Postgres.
- Experience in guiding teams towards common objectives while aligning business priorities with individual strengths and career goals.
- Familiarity with influential figures in computing history and an appreciation for their contributions.
- Interests beyond technology, such as in art, history, or social sciences.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States. We offer competitive compensation, including salary and equity, along with comprehensive benefits. The expected salary range for this role in San Francisco is between $213,000 and $334,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
