About the role
This is a remote contract position focused on enhancing job seeker experiences through advanced AI and machine learning. You will lead a critical workstream, guiding technical strategy and contributing to product goals.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Improve search algorithms to boost accuracy and relevance for users.
- Develop and deploy machine learning models, then monitor their performance in production.
- Collaborate with various teams to define project objectives and success metrics.
- Mentor and guide other engineers in machine learning practices.
- Present technical work at industry conferences.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, with at least 8 years of relevant experience. Alternatively, a Master's degree with 6 years of experience, or a PhD with 3 years of experience.
- Proven track record of successfully deploying machine learning solutions to large-scale production environments.
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Demonstrated ownership and accountability in technical and product areas.
- Practical experience with deep learning frameworks such as Torch or Tensorflow.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and business audiences.
Nice to have
- Experience representing a company at major machine learning conferences like NeurIPS, ICML, or ICLR.

Practical notes
- Salary range: $163,000 - $341,000 USD per year, depending on geographic pay tier.
