About the role

InMobi is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join the CDR-AI team. This role focuses on developing advanced AI solutions for an enterprise marketing platform. You will contribute to building a next-generation reporting, analytics, and AI platform.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Design and implement applications powered by Large Language Models (LLMs), including chatbots and multi-agent systems.
• Create Generative AI solutions using frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, or CrewAI.
• Develop and maintain prompt templates, AI agents, and reusable AI workflows.
• Integrate vector databases for semantic search, contextual retrieval, and RAG.
• Build backend services and REST APIs to deploy AI models into production.
• Ensure AI solutions are explainable, accurate, compliant, and secure.
• Monitor and optimize the performance, cost, and reliability of AI models and workflows.
• Collaborate with various teams including Product, Data, Business, and Engineering to deliver complete AI solutions.
• Stay informed about new developments in Generative AI, AI/ML, and automation technologies.
• Participate in design reviews, sprint planning, and architectural discussions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or a related engineering field.
• 3 to 5 years of software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and TensorFlow/PyTorch.
• Experience designing and building LLM-powered applications, including prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, vector search, and fine-tuning.
• Practical experience with agentic AI frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, n8n, or ReAct-style agents.
• Strong experience building REST APIs, microservices, and backend systems for production applications.
• Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP), including building or integrating MCP tools or servers.
• Good understanding of CI/CD, Docker, and containerized application development.
• Working knowledge of data pipelines, APIs, databases, and cloud platforms like Azure or GCP.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Ability to work effectively in agile engineering environments.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with technical and business stakeholders.

• Experience working with massively large-scale data systems in production.
• Experience in the Big Data analytics domain.
• Experience building AI products driven by data and insights.
• Experience with Enterprise Applications like Salesforce or MS Dynamics.
