Senior Manager - HR

About the role

InMobi is seeking a dedicated HR leader to establish and manage people operations at our new Lucknow office. You will act as a primary culture carrier and operational lead, ensuring our global standards are implemented locally while supporting the growth of our site.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Manage the full HR lifecycle for the site, including onboarding, performance cycles, employee relations, and compliance.
• Partner with Bengaluru-based Centers of Excellence (COEs) and HRBPs to ensure operational consistency.
• Build people practices and infrastructure from the ground up for the new location.
• Influence senior business leaders and cross-functional teams to drive site-wide initiatives.
• Handle sensitive employee matters, conflicts, and grievances with maturity and empathy.
• Monitor HR metrics such as attrition and engagement to inform decision-making.
• Coordinate with central teams for audits, vendor management, and system implementations.

Requirements

• Proven depth in HR generalist functions and site-level management.
• Expertise in local labor laws and statutory compliance relevant to Uttar Pradesh and Lucknow.
• Ability to manage stakeholders, influence without direct authority, and navigate ambiguous environments.
• Strong operational rigor with a track record of executing tasks with minimal supervision.
• Experience translating organizational culture into actionable local initiatives.
• Data-driven mindset with proficiency in reporting and dashboard management.

Nice to have

• Prior experience launching greenfield office sites or scaling teams from zero to 100+ employees.
• Background in high-growth tech or startup environments.
• Ability to coach first-time managers and develop leadership capabilities.
• Experience contributing to employer branding and regional talent acquisition strategies.
