About the role

The Indian Army is offering an internship opportunity focused on robotics and autonomous ground systems. Interns will engage in research and development activities, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of robotics.

What you'll do

• Interns will study the basics of robotics, covering topics such as robot kinematics, actuators, sensors, embedded controllers, motor drives, and programming for robotics.
• Participants will receive practical training in simulation software, microcontroller platforms, and automation technologies commonly used in industry.
• Under the guidance of mentors, interns will enhance their technical skills, analytical reasoning, teamwork abilities, project management, and professional communication.

Requirements

• Candidates must hold a B.Tech. / B.E. or equivalent degree in Automation and Robotics, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Robotics, Mechatronics, or Robotics and Mechatronics.
• Alternatively, candidates with an M.Tech. / M.E. in Automation and Robotics, Electronics Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Robotics and Mechatronics are also eligible.
• Applicants should be available for the entire 75-day internship and possess relevant skills and interest in the project area.

Practical notes

• Working hours are from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Saturday.
• The stipend will be disbursed upon successful completion of the internship; candidates with less than 75% attendance will not be eligible.
• A police verification process is mandatory prior to joining.
• Accommodation is not provided.
• Personal smartphones and laptops are not allowed on the premises; workstations will be available for use.
