About the role
This internship focuses on research in drone technology and counter-drone systems. Interns will engage in various aspects of unmanned aerial systems, including software development and detection technologies.

What you'll do
- Monitor RF spectrum and conduct signal analysis.
- Implement radar systems for detection and tracking.
- Utilize electro-optical and infrared sensing technologies.
- Conduct acoustic sensing activities.
- Apply AI and machine learning techniques for drone identification.
- Develop electronic countermeasures and strategies for threat mitigation.
- Analyze operational scenarios, identify vulnerabilities, and assess emerging drone threats.
- Produce technical documentation, research papers, and project presentations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in Automation and Robotics or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Science or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent.
- Commitment to the full 75-day internship duration.
- Relevant skills and a strong interest in the project area.
Skills & tools
- Familiarity with drone technology and systems.
Practical notes
- Working hours are from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Saturday.
- Stipend will be disbursed upon successful completion of the internship; attendance below 75% will result in ineligibility for stipend.
- Police verification is mandatory prior to joining.
- Accommodation is not provided.
- Personal smartphones and laptops are not allowed on the premises; workstations will be available.
