About the role

This internship offers an opportunity to engage in data analysis, reporting, and decision-support tools within the Indian Army. Interns will gain hands-on experience while contributing to meaningful projects that support operational decisions.

What you'll do

• Organize and analyze data utilizing Advanced Microsoft Excel features such as Pivot Tables, Power Query, XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, and Dynamic Arrays.
• Create interactive dashboards and reports with Power BI.
• Utilize Tableau for advanced visualizations and insightful dashboard creation.
• Recognize trends, automate regular reports, and deliver actionable insights for business decisions.
• Work collaboratively with various teams while ensuring data quality and maintaining documentation.

Requirements

• Candidates must be pursuing or have completed a degree in B.Tech, BE, B.Sc., M.Sc., MBA, M.Tech, or other relevant analytical fields.
• Familiarity with SQL, Python, VBA, or Looker Studio is a plus.
• A strong portfolio showcasing live projects and practical experience is beneficial.
• Develop skills in Business Intelligence, dashboard creation, reporting automation, and professional communication to prepare for a career in Data Analytics and Business Intelligence.

Who can apply

• Candidates with a B.Tech or B.E. in Computer Science or Computer Science and Engineering.
• Must be available for the entire 75-day internship duration.
• Relevant skills and a genuine interest in the project area are essential.

Practical notes

• Working hours are from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Saturday.
• Stipend is issued after the successful completion of the internship; those with less than 75% attendance will not be eligible.
• A police verification process is required prior to joining.
• Accommodation is not provided.
• Personal smartphones and laptops are not allowed on the premises; workstations will be available for use.
