The Indian Army is seeking a Data Management Intern to join their team. What you'll do

• Develop and manage spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
• Gather, organize, and cleanse data from diverse sources.
• Conduct basic data analysis and generate summary reports.
• Create visual representations such as charts, tables, and dashboards as needed.
• Maintain data integrity and confidentiality.
• Assist the team with ongoing data updates and documentation.
• Set up a Power BI database for financial management purposes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Technology or Engineering with a focus on Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering and Application, or Computer Science.
• Diploma in Engineering with a specialization in Computer Engineering.
• Must be available for the entire 75-day internship duration.
• Relevant skills and a genuine interest in the project area are essential.

Skills & tools

• Proficiency in Power BI.
• Strong IT skills.
• Familiarity with Excel and Google Sheets.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and time management skills.

Practical notes

• Working hours are from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Saturday.
• Stipend is disbursed upon successful completion of the internship; attendance below 75% disqualifies stipend eligibility.
• A police verification process is mandatory prior to joining.
• Personal smartphones and laptops are not allowed on-site; workstations will be provided.
