About the role

This internship focuses on digital media, outreach, and strategic communications within the Indian Army. Interns will engage in various content creation activities that support the Army's initiatives and enhance public engagement.

What you'll do

• Develop captivating digital content, such as social media updates, posters, infographics, presentations, newsletters, videos, and promotional materials.
• Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns to promote Army initiatives, webinars, events, and innovation programs.
• Utilize strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills to effectively convey messages.
• Employ graphic design software like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite, and demonstrate familiarity with major social media platforms.
• Exhibit strong organizational abilities, creativity, and a keen interest in defense, technology, innovation, and strategic communications.
• Acquire practical experience in content creation, stakeholder engagement, digital communications, and national-level defense innovation efforts while collaborating with the Army Design Bureau.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication or a related field.
• Availability for the entire 75-day internship duration.
• Relevant skills and a genuine interest in the project area.

Practical notes

• Working hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Saturday.
• Stipend is disbursed upon successful completion of the internship; candidates with less than 75% attendance will not be eligible for payment.
• A police verification process is mandatory before joining.
• Accommodation is not provided.
• Personal smartphones and laptops are not allowed on the premises; workstations will be available for use.
