About the role

This internship focuses on antenna design within the context of space-domain systems and RF engineering. Interns will gain hands-on experience in both simulation and practical testing of antenna systems.

What you'll do

• You will be involved in designing antennas using simulation software like HFSS or CST Microwave Studio.
• Your responsibilities will include creating physical prototypes and conducting tests in both lab and field settings to evaluate parameters such as radiation patterns, VSWR, gain, and bandwidth.

Requirements

• Candidates must hold a B.Tech. / B.E. or equivalent degree with a specialization in Advanced Electronics and Communication Engineering.
• Alternatively, applicants can have a B.Tech. / B.E. or equivalent in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering or in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering with a focus on Radio and Systems.
• A Master's degree (M. Tech. / M.E.) in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering is also acceptable.
• Applicants should be available for the entire 75-day internship and possess relevant skills and interest in the project area.

Skills & tools

• Familiarity with STEAG is preferred.

Practical notes

• Working hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Saturday.
• The stipend will be disbursed upon successful completion of the internship, with a minimum attendance requirement of 75% to qualify.
• Police verification is mandatory before joining.
• Accommodation is not provided, and personal smartphones and laptops are not allowed on the premises; workstations will be available for use.
