You will architect and deploy scalable object storage solutions that power next-generation AI workloads, owning the full lifecycle from design to production validation. You will partner directly with product and engineering teams to translate ambiguous requirements into robust technical specifications that drive platform evolution. You will lead experiments that stress-test our storage infrastructure under extreme conditions, gathering insights that shape our reliability and performance roadmaps. You will collaborate across time zones to integrate decentralized infrastructure patterns with mainstream cloud services, ensuring seamless adoption for enterprise customers. You will analyze complex system telemetry to diagnose bottlenecks, proposing and implementing optimizations that enhance efficiency and user experience. You will document architectural decisions and operational procedures, creating knowledge assets that empower your colleagues and successors. You will mentor peers within the program, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence. What you'll do
Conduct in-depth analysis of customer storage requirements to define scalable object storage architectures that align with AI and compute workload demands.
Design and implement core components of our object storage platform, focusing on durability, scalability, and performance metrics critical for cloud-native applications.
Collaborate with infrastructure engineers to integrate our storage layer with emerging decentralized infrastructure (DePIN) frameworks, validating interoperability in real-world scenarios.
Optimize data ingestion and retrieval pathways to reduce latency and increase throughput, directly enhancing the experience for end-users leveraging our GPU platform.
Partner with product managers to prototype new features, translating business objectives into technical tasks that advance our channel-first go-to-market strategy.
Execute rigorous performance benchmarking and fault injection testing to uncover edge cases, ensuring our platform meets enterprise-grade reliability standards.
Automate operational workflows using infrastructure-as-code practices, enabling rapid deployment and consistent configuration across development and production environments.
Monitor system health and resource utilization, identifying opportunities for cost efficiency and infrastructure optimization without compromising service quality.
Contribute to the development of our full GPU platform software stack, focusing on storage orchestration that supports high-performance computing workloads.
Gather and interpret usage metrics to inform product decisions, providing data-driven insights that guide roadmap priorities for storage and compute offerings.
Document technical processes and architectural patterns, creating clear guides that accelerate onboarding and empower cross-functional teams.
Lead knowledge-sharing sessions within the program, presenting findings and best practices to peers and senior engineers to elevate collective expertise.
Support the evolution of our channel-first strategy by building tools that enable partners and resellers to effectively leverage our cloud object storage solutions.
Champion continuous improvement initiatives, proposing and driving projects that enhance reliability, security, and user satisfaction across our platform.
Requirements
You are enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program or have recently graduated with a technical background.
You possess a strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems principles.
You have hands-on experience with cloud technologies, storage systems, or infrastructure platforms, demonstrating practical problem-solving skills.
You are proficient in at least one modern programming language, such as Python, Go, or Rust, and understand software engineering best practices.
You have a keen interest in AI, machine learning workloads, or high-performance computing, with exposure to related technologies or projects.
You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where priorities evolve and adaptability is essential.
You communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally, enabling clear collaboration with international teams.
