About the role
In this position, you will oversee the end-to-end management of technology and business transformation projects. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that projects are delivered successfully, meeting all scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements. You will coordinate efforts across various teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure that project objectives align with organizational goals. This role requires a proactive leader capable of managing multiple priorities, mitigating risks, and ensuring smooth communication among all involved parties. You will play a key role in driving project success, supporting change management activities, and facilitating the transition to operational stability once projects are completed.

What you'll do
- Lead and manage the complete project lifecycle, from project initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure timely and quality delivery of project outputs.
- Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, ensuring adherence to company standards and methodologies.
- Create and maintain RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) to proactively identify and address potential project challenges.
- Facilitate regular project status meetings, prepare progress reports, and communicate updates to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
- Monitor project budgets, track actual expenditures against forecasts, and implement corrective actions to stay within financial targets.
- Manage project scope changes, ensuring proper change control processes are followed and impacts are communicated effectively.
- Lead risk management efforts by identifying potential issues early and developing mitigation strategies.
- Oversee resource planning and allocation, ensuring the right skills are available at the right times to meet project demands.
- Collaborate with Change Management teams to support user adoption, training, and readiness activities, ensuring smooth transition to new systems or processes.
- Supervise third-party vendors and contractors, monitoring their performance and ensuring contractual obligations are met.
- Ensure compliance with project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, PMP, or SAFe, and adhere to organizational standards.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement, managing expectations and maintaining strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the transition of completed projects into operational teams, ensuring knowledge transfer and stability.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans to minimize impact on project delivery.
- Use project management tools like Power BI, JIRA, and THOR for reporting, tracking, and managing project data.
- Promote best practices in project management and continuous improvement within the project teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure resource availability and effective workload balancing.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of managing medium to large IT projects.
- Strong understanding of project governance, delivery practices, and methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid.
- Demonstrated success in managing projects related to software, infrastructure, cloud, ERP, CRM, or digital transformation.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating efforts across multiple departments and vendors.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels and providing clear, concise updates.
- Proficiency with project management and reporting tools, including Power BI, JIRA, and THOR.
- Strong financial management skills, including budget tracking, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks proactively.
- A degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, or SAFe are preferred and considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of project lifecycle management, resource planning, and change management processes.
- Familiarity with ITAR compliance and working within regulated environments is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
