Key facts

What you'll do

• Architect and develop high-quality software systems for production use.
• Spearhead the development of backend and infrastructure components using Go, Python, PostgreSQL, AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD practices.
• Engage in full-stack development as necessary, utilizing React and TypeScript.
• Collaborate closely with clients to quickly iterate and deliver valuable solutions.
• Establish engineering standards, workflows, and long-term technical vision.

Requirements

• Proven experience in backend engineering and cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Go (Golang) is preferred; however, candidates with strong skills in other backend programming languages will also be considered.
• Demonstrated ability to design scalable and dependable distributed systems.
• Capacity to make effective technical choices in dynamic environments.
• Comfort with ambiguity and a strong sense of ownership.
• Interest in AI-driven solutions and emerging technologies.
• Potential for leadership with a commitment to developing and mentoring future teams.
• Previous experience as a Founding Engineer, in an early-stage startup, or as a founder is highly advantageous.

• Experience in developing AI or machine learning applications.

• Familiarity with working in complex or highly regulated industries.
