What you'll do

• Develop and implement strategic initiatives that align with Idbank's overall vision and objectives, ensuring sustainable growth and competitive advantage.
• Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and potential areas for innovation within the banking sector.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and launch new products and services, ensuring they meet market demands and regulatory requirements.
• Lead brainstorming sessions and workshops to foster a culture of innovation within the organization, encouraging team members to contribute ideas and solutions.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of strategic initiatives, using data-driven insights to refine and adjust strategies as necessary.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, industry partners, and technology providers, to support strategic objectives.
• Prepare and present reports to senior management and the board of directors, providing updates on strategic initiatives and their impact on the bank's performance.
• Stay informed about industry best practices and advancements in technology that can enhance banking operations and customer engagement.
• Mentor and guide team members in the Strategy and Innovations Department, fostering professional growth and development.
• Participate in industry conferences and networking events to represent Idbank and gather insights on market trends and innovations.
• Develop and manage the budget for the Strategy and Innovations Department, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
• Drive a customer-centric approach in all strategic initiatives, ensuring that the needs and preferences of our clients are prioritized.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic planning, business development, or innovation management within the banking or financial services industry.
• Proven track record of successfully leading strategic initiatives and driving innovation in a corporate environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience managing cross-functional teams and fostering collaboration.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, with a focus on delivering results on time and within budget.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance issues relevant to the banking sector.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.

Nice to have

• Experience with digital transformation initiatives in the banking sector.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI, blockchain, and fintech solutions.
• Fluency in Armenian and English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
• Previous experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment.
