About the role

ID.me is transforming its procurement and vendor management operations into a lean, AI-driven function. You will serve as a primary operator, working alongside the Strategic Vendor Management leader to manage the vendor portfolio, optimize spending, and configure modern procurement systems. This is a hands-on builder role focused on delivering high-impact results through automation and strategic negotiation.

What you'll do

• Execute renegotiations for mid-tier vendors to secure cost savings and improved contract terms.
• Audit the technology and SaaS portfolio to identify and consolidate redundant tools or licenses.
• Manage end-to-end vendor selection, including pilot programs, performance data analysis, and sourcing recommendations.
• Administer procurement systems, including workflow configuration, approval processes, and renewal tracking.
• Manage and refine AI agents used for contract review, intake triage, and anomaly detection.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Legal, GRC, InfoSec, and Privacy teams to accelerate business objectives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in procurement, vendor management, FP&A operations, consulting, or related operational roles.
• Proven ability to lead negotiations and deliver measurable financial or operational improvements.
• Proficiency in using AI tools and LLMs to automate research, drafting, and manual tasks.
• Experience implementing or optimizing procurement and finance software.
• Ability to lead cross-functional discussions and influence stakeholders at various levels.
• Self-starter mindset with a focus on taking ownership of projects and systems.

Skills & tools

• Procurement/Finance Tooling: Ramp, Coupa, Zip, Tropic, Spendflo, Ironclad, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
• AI/LLM usage for operational efficiency.
• Data-driven decision making and contract negotiation.
