About the role
This senior technical leadership position sits at the crossroads of marketing, data engineering, and product development. You will transform an existing MarTech foundation into a high-performing system by connecting CRM, CDP, marketing automation, analytics, and AI-driven personalization tools. The role requires close collaboration with product, engineering, and data teams to help marketing operate quickly while maintaining compliance standards.

What you'll do
- Manage the complete MarTech stack including evaluation, selection, implementation, and optimization of platforms supporting acquisition, lifecycle marketing, analytics, and attribution
- Develop marketing data strategy that creates a unified customer view across B2C consumers, B2B enterprise partners, and B2G agency relationships by connecting CRM, CDP, and data warehouse layers
- Design and operate marketing automation workflows, nurture sequences, triggered campaigns, and segmentation logic for email, SMS, in-app, and paid channels
- Build and maintain attribution and measurement systems with privacy-compliant models that clarify growth drivers across multi-touch funnels
- Collaborate with engineering and data teams on data pipelines, event tracking schemas, and identity resolution logic that support marketing decisions
- Assess and implement AI and machine learning tools for predictive lead scoring, churn modeling, personalization, and content optimization
- Ensure all MarTech operations comply with GDPR, CCPA, FedRAMP, and internal privacy and data governance standards
- Convert business goals into technical specifications and communicate technical constraints to leadership
Requirements
- 8+ years working in marketing technology, marketing operations, or growth engineering
- Hands-on experience with major MarTech platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, or Marketo
- Working knowledge of CDPs like Segment or mParticle and data warehouses including Snowflake or BigQuery
- Understanding of identity resolution, customer data unification, and matching users across anonymous, authenticated, and partner data sources
- Background building marketing infrastructure in regulated or privacy-sensitive environments with experience handling PII
- SQL proficiency and ability to work directly within data pipelines as a technical peer to engineers
- Experience with attribution modeling including multi-touch attribution, incrementality testing, and media mix modeling
- History of building and leading teams that operate between marketing and engineering functions
- Vendor management skills including contract negotiation, build versus buy analysis, and tool portfolio governance
