About the role
ID.me is seeking a Senior AR & Billing Analyst to join our expanding Finance team. This role manages receivables and billing operations while focusing on process improvement, accounting analysis, and the integration of AI-driven solutions to scale our financial infrastructure.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Manage daily collections and cash application, serving as the primary point of contact for complex or disputed accounts.
- Implement AI tools to prioritize collector outreach, draft correspondence, predict risk, and automate response reconciliation.
- Maintain AR aging schedules and perform analysis to support CECL reserve methodology.
- Execute general ledger entries for bad debt, write-offs, and other adjustments.
- Perform monthly reconciliation between the AR sub-ledger and the general ledger.
- Oversee the end-to-end affiliate revenue commission process and establish scalable, documented procedures.
- Handle core billing tasks including invoicing and client account maintenance.
- Develop and refine billing policies and playbooks for a growing enterprise business.
- Deploy agentic and LLM-based solutions to reduce manual tasks.
- Collaborate with the Senior Manager of Revenue and the Controller on system implementations and month-end close.
- Provide reporting on receivables health, collections performance, and automation metrics to leadership.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, specifically in AR, collections, or revenue accounting.
- Experience leading credit and collections teams within a high-growth or enterprise SaaS environment, including management of other staff.
- Proven track record of driving automation in credit and collections workflows to improve efficiency or DSO.
- Proficiency in commercial credit risk assessment and financial statement analysis.
- Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets for modeling and reporting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for internal and external professional interactions.
- Ability to manage multiple manual processes simultaneously with high attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and data privacy.
Nice to have
- Working knowledge of US GAAP regarding receivables, specifically CECL/ASC 326.
- Experience with NetSuite.
- Experience with Salesforce.
- Bachelor degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification or progress toward completion.
