What you'll do

• Supervise and lead electrical installation projects, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal codes and regulations.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring that all work is completed on schedule and within financial constraints.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to develop comprehensive project plans and schedules.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress, quality, and safety standards, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
• Provide technical guidance and support to electricians and apprentices, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Review and approve project documentation, including plans, specifications, and change orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure alignment on project goals and expectations.
• Prepare and submit reports on project status, including progress updates, budget tracking, and resource allocation.
• Ensure that all safety protocols are followed on-site, conducting safety meetings and training sessions as necessary.
• Assist in the recruitment and training of new electrical staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Valid electrical superintendent license in Colorado or the ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Proven experience in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse workforce.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Proficient in using project management software and tools for tracking progress and managing resources.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.

Nice to have

• Experience with renewable energy systems, such as solar or wind power, is a plus.
