Director, Digital Marketing
Job description
Director, Digital Marketing at Horizon3.ai.
About the role
The Director, Digital Marketing at Horizon3.ai is responsible for owning the complete digital buyer journey from first touch to conversion, overseeing every digital surface a prospect encounters before sales engagement. This role commands the full scope of paid media, organic discovery, and conversion optimization with direct accountability for pipeline generation and cost efficiency. You will architect and govern the digital growth engine, ensuring that our web properties function as high-performance conversion assets rather than static brochures. Working closely with sales and marketing operations, you will translate market insights into scalable digital strategies that accelerate opportunity creation and shorten sales cycles. You are expected to operate at the intersection of data, creativity, and operational rigor to drive measurable demand. This position requires a hands-on leader who builds, tests, and iterates in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Your work will directly influence the scale and efficiency of our go-to-market motion across global markets.

What you'll do
- Own end-to-end management of paid media channels, including strategic planning, campaign architecture, bidding optimization, and performance reporting with cost per opportunity as the core efficiency metric.

- Transform LinkedIn into an enterprise conversion and account progression channel, using insight-driven campaigns to move accounts through defined stages of intent.
- Design and execute Account-Based Marketing ad programs across performance channels such as LinkedIn and targeted display to complement outbound and SDR efforts.

- Lead conversion rate optimization initiatives, establishing a hypothesis-driven testing program that systematically improves the journey from visitor to marketing-qualified opportunity.
- Own search and answer-engine optimization strategy, building organic visibility for high-commercial-intent queries and ensuring platform evidence surfaces in traditional search and AI answer engines.
- Shift organic traffic mix away from low-commercial-value branded terms toward non-branded, high-intent keywords that drive qualified landing page engagement.
- Partner with brand, design, and product marketing to elevate validation, proof points, and interactive assessment modules above the fold across all key pages.
- Source, evaluate, and manage specialized external agencies and contractors, including SEO consultants, developers, designers, and copywriters, to maintain execution speed.
- Establish rigorous testing cadences and performance dashboards, using data to prioritize initiatives that deliver the strongest pipeline and cost efficiency.
- Define and monitor digital KPIs including pipeline influenced, cost per opportunity, conversion rates, and share of answer in key query frameworks.
- Maintain close alignment with sales and marketing operations to ensure digital efforts support and reinforce broader revenue objectives.
- Continuously audit digital assets to identify friction points, technical issues, and optimization opportunities across the visitor journey.
- Champion a culture of learning, experimentation, and accountability within the digital marketing team.
