Pod Lead, Specialty Account Management at HopSkipDrive.
About the role
You will manage the Professional Supply Pod, a unit dedicated to the growth and operational success of our WAV and Livery fleets. This position combines direct team leadership with high-level strategy to ensure our most complex transportation services function efficiently across all markets.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Supervise a pod of 5 to 6 direct reports, including Business Development Managers and CarePartner Specialists.
- Oversee the end-to-end performance of professional supply, ensuring WAV and Livery fleets meet district ride demand.
- Develop and mentor staff, providing tactical guidance and supporting career progression.
- Create and enforce standardized operational playbooks to replace inconsistent, manual workflows.
- Handle a portfolio of high-complexity strategic partnerships directly.
- Act as the primary escalation contact for significant service issues or complex negotiations.
- Collaborate with Sales and Revenue teams to align supply acquisition with operational capacity.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in professional team management, including developing mid-level staff.
- Demonstrated ability to build and document scalable standard operating procedures.
- Proficiency in using AI and automation tools for data synthesis, drafting, and productivity.
- Experience managing complex, data-driven operational portfolios.
- Ability to operate as a player-coach who balances high-level strategy with hands-on problem solving.
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management.
