GTM Engineer

About the role

HopSkipDrive is seeking a technical GTM Engineer to build and maintain the systems that drive our growth. You will be responsible for optimizing our revenue technology stack and implementing AI-powered solutions to enhance efficiency for our sales, marketing, and customer success teams. This role is for someone who enjoys solving complex problems with technology and has a strong understanding of how to connect different software platforms.

What you'll do

Manage and enhance Salesforce, including user administration, custom configurations, automation rules, and reporting to ensure data accuracy.

Oversee the entire GTM tool ecosystem, tracking vendor relationships, contract renewals, and providing recommendations for tool optimization.

Develop and implement new workflows and integrations between GTM systems to streamline processes and reduce manual tasks.

Drive an AI-first approach by identifying and integrating LLMs and automation agents to minimize manual effort and provide actionable insights.

Build and maintain integrations across GTM tools like Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Outreach, Gong, Spiff, and Omni using APIs, connectors, or iPaaS.

Create clear documentation for system configurations, workflow logic, and integration architecture to support operational continuity and enable self-service.

Collaborate with RevOps leadership and GTM stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions, proactively addressing potential issues.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in GTM Engineering, RevOps Systems, or Salesforce Administration within a fast-paced B2B SaaS or marketplace company.

Certified Salesforce Administrator or equivalent practical experience, with deep knowledge of Salesforce flows, validation rules, permission sets, custom objects, and reporting.

Proven ability to incorporate AI tools, such as LLMs or AI-assisted enrichment platforms (e.g., Clay, n8n, Gemini, Claude), into GTM workflows to reduce manual work.

Hands-on experience managing a GTM software stack, including vendor evaluation, contract tracking, and ROI analysis for tools like ZoomInfo, Outreach, Gong, or Spiff.

Proficiency in system integrations, including connecting tools via REST APIs, native connectors, or iPaaS solutions like Zapier, Make, or Workato.

A proactive approach to identifying system gaps, designing scalable solutions, and taking ownership of critical systems.

Comfortable with building automations, debugging integrations, and working with APIs, utilizing AI tools for efficient problem-solving.

Nice to have

Experience building AI agents and workflows for tasks such as call preparation, post-meeting CRM updates, deal risk identification, and automated research.
