Java Developer at HonorVet Technologies.
About the role
HonorVet Technologies is looking for a senior Java Developer to join our team for a long-term contract engagement. You will focus on building and maintaining enterprise-level software within an Agile framework.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Build, update, and manage enterprise software systems.
- Identify and resolve application performance issues.
- Develop and optimize SQL databases.
- Participate in peer code reviews.
- Work alongside cross-functional teams across the full development lifecycle.
Requirements
- 15+ years of professional Java development.
- 10+ years of experience working with SQL databases.
- 8+ years of experience supporting and building large-scale enterprise applications in team settings.
- 5+ years of experience working in Linux environments.
- Proficiency in application debugging and performance tuning.
Nice to have
- Experience using Atlassian software, specifically Jira.
- Background working in Agile or Scrum environments.
- Experience transitioning legacy systems to Java and SQL architectures.
- Previous work history with State Government agencies.
