About the role
Honeydew is seeking a leader to establish and scale our learning and quality infrastructure for the Care Coordination team. This role is for a builder who can create a systematic approach to onboarding, ongoing development, and performance evaluation, ensuring high-quality patient care as we grow.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Develop a comprehensive training program designed to improve information retention by 25%.
- Implement an updated quality assurance process, potentially incorporating AI tools, to accurately measure Care Coordinator performance.
- Reduce the new hire onboarding period from 6 weeks to 4 weeks while maintaining positive new hire experiences and readiness.
- Design and manage a structured onboarding academy and continuous skill development curriculum, moving towards competency-based advancement.
- Create and oversee a quality assurance framework with defined key performance indicators, ensuring audit findings lead to timely coaching.
- Collaborate with Care Coordination leadership to gather frontline feedback and identify training needs, and work with Product and Engineering to keep training materials current with evolving workflows.
- Build systems and dashboards that enable proactive identification of quality and performance issues.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in learning and development, quality assurance, or workforce performance leadership.
- Proven ability to construct structured programs from their initial stages.
- Experience managing or designing QA frameworks with measurable KPIs and linking training initiatives to performance results.
- Prior experience leading managers or senior individual contributors.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in creating or interpreting performance dashboards.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance, documentation standards, and regulatory risks.
- Experience in healthcare operations, telehealth, or multi-state healthcare environments.
- Background in adult learning principles or instructional design.
- Experience partnering with product teams to develop internal solutions.
- Training in Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement methodologies.
- Experience building certification or competency-based progression programs.
- Exposure to AI-powered learning tools or knowledge management systems.
- Experience scaling teams in rapidly growing startups, particularly in call center or support functions.
