Senior Product Manager
About the role
This position focuses on developing and implementing advanced AI technologies for our field teams. You will be responsible for creating products that integrate artificial intelligence into the physical construction environment, empowering our on-site personnel.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Shape the strategic direction and execution plan for AI applications used by our field operations.
- Develop AI-powered tools, including those using computer vision, multimodal models, and agents, that function effectively in dynamic construction settings.
- Act as a key advisor on emerging technologies and their practical application within our construction processes.
- Collaborate closely with field personnel, including Superintendents and Direct Construction Operators, to gather insights and ensure product adoption.
- Drive product initiatives forward by working independently across Construction Operations, Field Operations, and Engineering departments.
- Define product requirements with precision, establish quality benchmarks for AI features, and prioritize development efforts.
- Measure product success through defined metrics and experiments to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements
- Possess at least 5 years of experience in product management, with a history of overseeing complex technical products.
- Have a proven background in launching applied AI products, such as computer vision, multimodal, LLM/agent-based, or ML systems, that performed significant actions or made decisions in real-world applications.
- Demonstrate experience applying technology in physical or unstructured environments.
- Exhibit strong technical understanding, enabling effective collaboration with engineering and ML teams.
- Be a self-starter capable of operating autonomously, moving with speed, and achieving cross-functional results.
- Possess a forward-thinking perspective on AI and its potential applications.
- Have experience building products from initial concept through to market adoption.
- Communicate effectively, bridging the gap between field teams, technical staff, and leadership.
- Be willing to travel to Texas monthly for on-site collaboration.
