AI Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an AI Engineer to enhance our AI-first software engineering approach through specification-driven development and agent-based workflows. This position involves hands-on engineering work, focusing on making sure AI-generated code is ready for production, structurally sound, and meets business objectives.

What you'll do

• Analyze, enhance, and iterate on AI-generated code using specification-driven development methods.
• Ensure that the solutions produced align with architectural guidelines and business needs.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects to refine AI outputs and speed up software delivery processes.
• Assist in new project development, modernization of existing systems, and AI-driven product initiatives.
• Contribute to the evolution of the engineering team towards ongoing AI-supported delivery.

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering.
• At least 6 months of direct experience using AI in software development.
• Strong foundation in software architecture and best engineering practices.
• Proficiency with .NET/C#, React/TypeScript, REST APIs, and Azure SQL or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with Claude Code or comparable AI development tools.
• Experience with agent-based frameworks.
• Knowledge of specification-driven development.
• Proven experience in modernizing legacy applications.
