About the role
This position is for someone who enjoys transforming disorganized hiring processes into efficient, automated systems. You will develop the core infrastructure for recruiting, automating various stages from sourcing to interview preparation. Your work will enable recruiters and hiring managers to operate quickly while maintaining a positive candidate experience. You will design scalable sourcing workflows that ensure a consistent flow of qualified candidates for every open role. You will implement monitoring of competitor and talent signals to keep stakeholders informed of market shifts such as hiring surges or layoffs. You will construct a referral and backchannel system that maps internal networks to uncover warm candidate connections. You will automate interviewer and candidate preparation by creating prep materials, interview guides, triggered messages, and calendar workflows. You will enhance the careers website to better communicate the company story, attract higher quality applicants, and reduce application drop-off. You will establish safeguards for ATS data, including validation, exception reporting, and cleanup routines, to ensure reliable reporting and coordination.

What you'll do
- Manage and improve the recruiting technology and automation stack to support high-volume, quality hiring across multiple client engagements.

- Establish safeguards for ATS data, such as validation rules, exception reporting, and cleanup routines, to ensure reliable reporting and coordination between teams.
- Partner with clients to understand their hiring workflows and translate ambiguous requirements into clear, automated system specifications.
- Prioritize initial shipments by outlining how to build core systems and deliver tangible value quickly while maintaining a candidate-first approach.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather feedback, identify bottlenecks, and refine automated recruiting processes over time.
- Maintain and document all automation workflows, ensuring they are reliable, observable, and easy for others to understand and modify.
- Monitor key recruiting metrics such as response rates, conversion, funnel health, and data integrity to identify opportunities for optimization.
- Integrate systems using APIs and webhooks to connect sourcing tools, ATS platforms, and communication systems into cohesive workflows.
- Leverage AI-assisted coding and modern recruiting automation tools to rapidly prototype, test, and iterate on new system capabilities.
Requirements
- Ability to clearly outline how to build core systems and prioritize initial shipments so that the most impactful workflows are delivered first.
- At least one year of experience as a dedicated sourcer or recruiter, with a strong understanding of what drives actual pipeline growth in real hiring environments.
- Practical recruiting operations experience, including process design, tooling, reporting, and supporting both internal and client stakeholders effectively.
- A builder mindset that enables moving quickly from concept to prototype to working workflow and continuously improving based on real-world feedback.
- A candidate-first approach that prioritizes clarity, speed, and a positive experience for both candidates and interviewers throughout the hiring journey.
- Prior remote work experience demonstrating the ability to perform effectively in distributed environments with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency with remote collaboration tools such as Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, and Asana or similar project management platforms.
- Experience working with US or UK-based companies, understanding the nuances of professional communication and hiring standards in these regions.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow complex instructions while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced contract role.
- Comfort working with structured and semi-structured data, including spreadsheets, databases, and documentation systems used in recruiting operations.
- Willingness to adhere to application instructions, including completing the full application form and submitting required materials before consideration.
- Availability to participate in the video recording step of the application process, as this is required for initial screening of all candidates.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive candidate information in accordance with professional standards and client expectations.

- Experience developing dashboards and quality loops that track response rates, conversion, funnel health, and data integrity to inform continuous improvements.
- Comfort collaborating with brand and marketing teams to improve careers site content, SEO or AEO strategies, and candidate conversion through optimized messaging and design.
