Java Backend Developer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Java developer to contribute to the creation and upkeep of large-scale Java applications. This contract position involves enhancing system efficiency and working alongside diverse teams to produce excellent software.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Build, test, and launch Java applications and services.
• Produce clear, effective, and maintainable code adhering to established standards.
• Identify and fix technical problems within existing Java systems.
• Work with product specialists and engineers to define and implement system needs.
• Engage in code reviews and contribute to architectural planning.

Requirements

• Strong command of Java (Core Java, J2EE) and associated frameworks.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, or comparable tools.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices design.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases, and version control tools.
• Excellent analytical abilities and experience in Agile methodologies.
